The year began with a special moment at the Dungog Shire Australia Day Ceremony, where our two young ambassadors, James Ryan and Jack McBlane, were recognised for their continuous dedication to the museum. Both shared the Young Citizen of the Year Award for 2025, a well-earned honour for their contributions.
In another highlight, the museum proudly nominated Trudy Balstad for the Citizen of the Year Award, which she won in recognition of her exceptional community involvement. Additionally, the museum received a $150 donation from the Erringhi Hotel Trivia Competition, which will be used to support our ongoing initiatives.
Planning for this year’s events began at our February meeting, setting the stage for a promising year ahead. Stay tuned!
