Clarence Town Op Shop & Treasure Centre: A Milestone Birthday Celebration

What a wonderful celebration we had for our 25th birthday! Thank you to all who came along and celebrated with us, including many of our friends from away who came to celebrate with us too.

Lee Howie came down from Queensland, (Lee and husband Frank, were parishioners at St. John’s for decades), Graeme and Victoria Gardener, who were once parishioners at our Seaham Centre, Geoff and Jill Steward who were once Glen William parishioners and now live on the Central Coast. (Some may remember Geoff Steward when he was our Pharmacist here in Clarence Town for many years). It was lovely to see them again.

To our faithful customers – we cannot operate without you. To our wonderful volunteers for you loyal service, thank you all so much and to Carol, who is retiring at our last day and is going touring with David and her friend. We will all greatly miss you. Have a wonderful time.

We will be closing (last day) on Wednesday, 10th December for a well-earned Christmas break, and will reopen again on Wednesday 21st January, 2026.

Please keep your donations at home until then, as our bins will be closed.

We are open every Wednesday from 8.30am to noon. Volunteers are always welcome – once a month from 8.30 to noon. Please save ring-pulls and stamps for us.

Stay safe and have a wonderful Christmas.
