A recent workshop hosted by the TAFE Connects team took place in Dungog, focusing on the region’s current and future training needs—particularly those related to TAFE. A clear and consistent message emerged from local participants: there is a strong need for a dedicated training centre within Dungog Shire, along with enhanced public transport options to better connect the area with major training hubs in Maitland and Newcastle.
The Dungog District Chamber of Commerce remains committed to actively supporting the outcomes and ongoing discussions arising from this important initiative.
