20 Years Strong: Crafting & solving the world’s problems
Fibreholics Clarence Town is celebrating two decades of crafting together. Starting as a small group of spinners and knitters at Glen William Scout Hall, the group has since grown and now meets every Tuesday between 10.30am and 2.30pm, at the Anglican Church Hall in Clarence Town.
Even COVID couldn’t stop them from meeting — following all the rules, they gathered outside in parks and on the Museum grounds, bringing their own chairs and maintaining the required distance from each other.
While some members have moved on and new ones have joined, 20 years later, they are still spinning, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and solving the world’s problems (as women do)!
New members are always welcomed.
Just drop in any Tuesday or phone: Katherine Pitkin 0448 428 087 or Jill Harris 0427 372 909.
