It Takes a Village… and Then Some!
As another year draws to a close, I’m reminded just how much it truly takes a village to bring The Sentinel to life. From the stories that capture our towns, our people, and our events, to the photos, the design, the proofreading, and the behind-the scenes juggling – every issue is the result of an incredible community effort.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Steve, Chris, Brad, Kim, Christine, the two Anne’s, Trudy, Gillian, Di, Marion, John, Phill, Allan, Sue, Margaret, and of course – our contributing Parson. Your time, energy, creativity, and commitment are the backbone of each edition, and it’s impossible to overstate how much your contributions matter.
Equally, we owe enormous gratitude to our loyal advertisers. Without your ongoing support, The Sentinel simply wouldn’t be possible. Your faith in the publication and dedication to our community helps keep local stories alive.
From all of us – Cathy, Dannii, Samantha and the CTPA team – we wish you a Merry Christmas and a joyous holiday season. Thank you for being part of this village, for showing up, and for helping make Clarence Town a place where stories, people, and community spirit come together.
If you’ve got a community event or newsworthy tidbit to share, I’d love to hear about it! Drop me a line at thesentinel2321@gmail.com
Until next edition x Cathy Schneider
